every person has a different forte where memory is concerned... the first thing you must look out for in yourself is how you actually remember things... some people associate things to remember to images or places, others use mneumonics or acronyms. Personally I find that I am a very visual person and my memory is more easily jogged when lengthy pieces of information are associated to images. As I said, to each one his own and it is up to you to find what makes your memory work at its best.

Whoops ! I forgot what the question was .
It is the same way for me most times . My shrink says I'm taking too many different drugs . I'm not messing with you or any thing here . I've had 3 back surgery's and have very depressed for some time { therefore the shrink }
Are you taking any drugs ? You might want to have someone check the combo's . I would go have a blood test anyway though to be safe , if it is Alzheimers and they catch it early it can be treated with meds .

Ah mate, it's called getting old. I have that problem too, which is annoying since I used to be almost photographic in my memory. Try writing it out several times as well as reading it out loud. Studies have shown that people have the most recall of things they have written and a little higher even if writing it and reading it aloud.

How are you whit recalling this information during non-social events (like when your by your-self)? It might not be a memory problem but a very mild case of social anxiety. most Americans (speaking for my own country only) have very low self esteem and don't notice it because it's been there most of their life. try some books on building self confidence, you might find that memory and pronunciation improves as well.

You may be more able to remember if you actively tell yourself to remember when you first get the information. The problem is ---too much input! A lot of past info is being automatically relegated to your zip files. Harder to access.

You could have one of several medical conditions. See a doctor. My memory problems turned out to be caused by a brain tumor.

get yourself a full dyslexia and epilepsy assessment ... some bits of your brain always work better than others (as well as the whole thing having a certain level of prowess), but sometimes it can be a rather stark balance...
