An immature man wants to find purpose for his life even through death while a mature man has already found it.

The wording is a bit odd but first glance would be:
When a person is young they think that passion & aggression is the way to accomplish success and facilitate change, even if that means death.
The mature person understands that to make change happen you have to be alive and it is better to work peacefully and know when to back off and live to fight again another day.

I think it means that youth have the desire to glorius, but with maturity comes knowledge of the value of life over the value of glory.
