When I was a kid, my mother painted a dry sink with the words for "He who is late for dinner gets what's left." It starts "Die wo net kumma ..." I don't know German and can't remember any more of the original. It was a collaboration between my mother and her father, who was Pennsylvania Dutch on one side and naturalized German-American on the other. The dry sink (sort of a kitchen cabinet with 2 doors under a drawer and an open top area with a 4" high edging around it) was in our dining room until the house was sold.

Let go when you're hurting too much, give up wien love isn't enough. Move on when things are not like before, for sure there is someone out there who will love you even more.

What does that mean? Please advise. Thanks!

I love little quotes and phrases so, I thought I'd see what everyone's favorites are. Here are a few of mine:

"Happiness is like pee in your pants, everyone can see it, but only you can feel it's warmth."

"Take pride in how far you've come, have faith in how far you'll go."

"Sing like no one's listening, dance like no one's watching."

Please share your quotes!!!
