I really hope that it is true.
I know that I am accepting of so much that my parents would call revulsive but I am more educated than they were and am open to new ideas etc.
My children are more educated than I -I hope that education is the key I really hope ......

it's very true for our society. just look at race relations over the last 50 years here. or have a conversation with your grandparents about anything that is regularly socially acceptable to us. prob back in their day it was just tolerate. i think currently our society is becoming more tolerant of homosexuality and in some areas accepting the next generation will be accepting. we tolerate war and i don't know if anyone is ever accepting of it.

Right-wing, conservative, antiquated. All generations have worried that younger people are losing moral values throughout time. I don't think that statement is particularly revealing or insightful. But as far as how it is written, it uses parallel terms to contrast and compare "this generation, next generation" so no problems there.

I think it is fairly true, as you look at the pattern throughout recent and ancient history.
