Well we don't realize its a bliss until after we get the knowledge...knowledge is a double edged sword, we need it to progress however at the cost of our simplicity, the simpler life is the happier we tend to be. And not all people are seeking knowledge, a lot of people in the world are still ignorant, lol

because you need knowledge to be ignorant, if you didn't have the knowledge of something that you know you should ignore then the ignorance of experiencing what you shouldn't then becomes knowledge ,so if ignorance is bliss it is only bliss if you have the knowledge to ignore it in the first place. I hope you understand what I mean.

The adage that ignorance is bliss could not be farther from the truth when seriously put into practical application. Throughout time, what great accomplishments has ignorance made? What great empires and what marvels of science and technology now bear witness to ignorance's strength and power? That's right, none.
Nothing of true worth is achieved without wisdom and knowledge.

Who says Ignorance is Bliss?
For example if you do not know that if a drink is taken then the liver may fail, then you will suffer.
But if you have the knowledge that a drink taken may get your liver failed then you can avoid it.
Knowledge is Power, this power with wisdom gives Bliss.
There are some people who do something wrong even when they have knowledge they are fools, they do not have wisdom.

Yes,ignorance is bliss, but a bliss based on falsehood does not last long and likely to be exposed soon! Besides,Knowledge is also a very powerful force, may erupt any moment exploding the myth of ignorance! hence, it is better we are forewarned on our own and ward off ignorance.

Ignorance is nothing but lack of knowledge. We would like to see what knowledge is because lack of it itself is bliss and we like to know what knowledge does to ones persona. It is simple inquisitiveness of human race man...
Because you want more than bliss you asked this question.

We, as humans, cannot help it. We are driven by a force called "curiosity." This force makes us want to know past the obvious, and then further. It is the reason Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge, they knew how things were, but they wanted to know WHY things were the way they were. It is the same reason you asked this very question! We thirst for knowledge because the unknown is much to vast for humans to comprehend.
