OK, so I'm doing a research paper in my english class, and my topic is on Jeffrey Dahmer. I was really young when his case was going on, so I never saw anything on the news and such about his case. I want to get a lot of different sources for my report, so does anyone know how i can get ahold of some newsreels or tv footage covering the case online? Or does anyone know any good newspaper articles or anything online that I can find? Any help would me much appreicated!!! Thanks!

The essay is against the idea that man is causing global warming. This is what I had in mind for the end.

Whether global warming is man made or not I think that nature will take care of itself and resolve its own problems, it already has for millions of years! The world will continue to spin one day at a time regardless of us. We can choose to worry and fret about what will happen or we can continue living our daily lives and let nature go through its natural cycles.

Is this good what do you think?

your in a class.. your teacher or professor asks the class a question, you raise your hand and get the question right. Across from you, a girl that you barely know goes "omg, your soo smart".

The tiebreaker question comes up, and the team nominates you to take the guess, and that same girl goes, "don't worry she'll get it right, she's smart".. and then you get pressured and you get the answer wrong??

why do people feel the need to point this stuff and say it like a bad thing?? doesnt it bug you??? i mean its not like your some type of rocket scientist and yet people feel the need to emphasize something that makes one person feel uncomfortable.. and supposedly genius, while the other person reasonbly stupidER yet smug...

what's the deal here????

I have written several pieces including a native american folk tale, a fairy tale, and a piece on the emotion of fear ( two very different avenues of writing).... anyone have any idea?

p.s. I have already sent the fear piece to three magazines, two did not respond at all and I have one very cherished rejection letter, but I'm still hanging in there and writing as it is one of the loves of my life!

I live in VA...here's my ed history..

9th grade - straight A's, great SOL scores (GPA 4.0)

10th grade - straight A's and 1 B which was in Algebra II (I'm in a higher level math than most of the people in my grade) (3.9)

11th grade - 4 A's and I'll probably end up with a B in pre-calculus(again, higher level), B in French 4 (very hard), and a C in advanced chemistry :(. This will pull down my gpa so much...

Like i dont know why I'm so worried And im gonna take AP classes in 12th grade which means if i get an A it balances out one of my B's cause (5.0+3.0)/2 = 4.0 :). But that C will kill me...and you apply to college begining of your senior year so it's not like theyll get to see my improved GPA!! if they dont accept me cause 3.7(this might be it) is too low or something, and i improve it senior year...that would suck!! :( im worried but i dont wanna tell any1 i know theyll think im a nerd :(

I plan to go to VA tech - gpa requirement is 3.4

What do u guys think?

Is so bad, bless him. I do make him practice his handwriting twice a week. He is just 7 years old and in Year 2. I know his is young but he does not seem to care at all about his handwriting even when i sit him down and talk to him about it in a very nice way. His teacher has not said anything to me about it but i really think he could do a little better. He does not write on the lines it just above it and some letters are larger/smaller than others. I just want whats best for my son and not be told he has bad writing. I tell him he could improve on it and that would be great. Is there anything I could do to help him in some way or another. He odes get some of his letters mixed up at times and then i show him what to do and how to do them. Do you think i should go and talk to his teacher about this? Any help will be greatful.

I would like to know what is the most common color people like ---- I know it’s silly topic for research but it’s not for formal assignment it’s just a way to keep student working and searching ---

Ok, Im a sophomore in high school, and for freshmen, and the first part of sophomore year, I received alot of D's and F's out of laziness. Now in my second semester, I have good grades , is there any chance that if I continue to get good grades that I can still get into college ?


I lived in japan for 3 years because my parents are in the military, so moving back to the states after freshmen year took a little adjusting.
