your in a class.. your teacher or professor asks the class a question, you raise your hand and get the question right. Across from you, a girl that you barely know goes "omg, your soo smart".
The tiebreaker question comes up, and the team nominates you to take the guess, and that same girl goes, "don't worry she'll get it right, she's smart".. and then you get pressured and you get the answer wrong??
why do people feel the need to point this stuff and say it like a bad thing?? doesnt it bug you??? i mean its not like your some type of rocket scientist and yet people feel the need to emphasize something that makes one person feel uncomfortable.. and supposedly genius, while the other person reasonbly stupidER yet smug...
what's the deal here????

Yes that does bug me. It also bugs me when some1 always ask u questions about skool work and not anyone else when they actually get it and they just do that to bug u. IT'S SO ANNOYING!!! And that person's like "oh i'm asking u coz u kno everything" and i'm like what the hell! No i dont where do u get that from? And she's like "oh u always raise ur hand and get answers right". And i'm like "that's called intellegence, NOT GENIUS! Learn it, memorize it, write it down, AND EAT IT!"

No, it wouldn't bother me since the other girl thinks I'm smart and since I got it wrong, it had to be a hard question that she wouldn't have gotten right either.

yes it bugs me people in my classes do the same and i am not even that smart either. i just like you can get questions right sometimes. it is very annoying.

they're acting smug becuase they're jealous that you're smarter, and the only way they know to make themselves bigger is to make you smaller. don't worry, I'm sure they wouldn't like it if the shoe was on the other foot, but they're too stupid to realise that. just be who you wanna be. Other people I'm sure were annoyed too.

Maybe the one you got right was a question they would of never guessed the answer so they assumed you knew a lot more than them.

their just dumb, and they think that if they point out heavily and try to make out that your some nerd, which your NOT, they think they can discredit you somehow...
