If anyone here went to Roosevelt Middle School in Blaine Minnesota- in 1988-89, I would really like a couple of pictures out of that yearbook. I only lived there 11 months. Thanks.

online schools get a bad rap, sure there are plenty of bad online schools, but thats true of traditional colleges too. im convinced that its because the traditional schools hold all the cards, i mean they rund multi million dollar businesses, and if everyone started going online, getting a bachelors in 3 years instead of 4, then no one would waste 4 years of their life and money going to the universities. im sure that the socio-economical system of the country would change. no more would rich trust fund brats who go to ivy league school get all the realy good jobs. but i doubt it, the rich have too much power and the underclasses......well they believe what theyre told...... i could be wrong, im sure many think i am.......look past the brainwashing youve recieved beforeyou answer, i cant stand arrogance, either. thanks

I live in the uk and have been educated in the UK and Iam applying to a american university in Madrid.I have got everything prepared but I don't have letters of reccommendation(my teachers are taking so long).The deadline is the 31st for giving everything in.So iam going to give them everything apart from the letters and give them the letters as soon as I get them.Do you think that is ok?Also,time is running out do you think its too late?I hope theres spaces thanks

Everyone agrees my lecturer is terrible at his job. He is from Eastern Europe, and quite incomprehensible. On top of his accent, he's an horrible communicator, which makes him an awful lecturer.
Everyone in the class agrees with me.
At this point I'm so annoyed that in my second year, this term alone I have to have him teaching for 2 core modules. And these aren't easy subjects, so having a bad lecturer is a real drawback.

Please, does anyone know how I complain about him? Will my university do anything? I feel its really unfair that I have to attend such poor lectures.

I have bought one off the RNID website called Start to Sign! by Richard Magill and Anne Hodgson but I haven't found it very helpful.

I am studying BSL Level 1 and I want a book that will help me to construct simple sentences such as asking for directions, talking about the weather etc.

Where I come from, we only reach til 11th grade before we graduate. I am thinking of going to college in the US, and a particular school I applied to is actually requiring me to take an extra year (12th grade) because there are some requirements I haven't met. Is this odd for a school to ask? or do some schools really need international students to do that?

OK, This is my problem, I used to smoke weed daily right and, I stopped smoking on 2/3/07, I haven't smoked at all and I take a drug test on 3/5/07 BUT I bought a at home drug test and it's still in my system!
