I probably start studying Aerospace engineering when i reach 21, but my friends say that it's oo late then and you should start when you're 19 or 18. well i can't start now(i'm 19) and have to wait almost 2 years. they say it's better if i study something else which will only take 2-3 years to study...... but i wanna study aerospace engineering. it's not actually late when i'm 21 right? i know i have to study for many years to become an engineer(but it's what i like).

In my Zoology class we were given a set of problems to workout. I am lost and confused. My profressor is going over the Hardy-Weinburg Principle which implies that heredity itself doesn't cause changes in the frequencies of various forms of the same allele. There's more to the principle but I am not going to write all of it. I know there are two formulas: p squared+2pq+q squared=1 and p+q=1.

The problem I am stuck on is: A populaton of 6,000 people who dwell on a remote south sea island is in gentic equilibrium. There are 1500 people who are homozygous recessive for a trait resulting in six fingers on the left hand. There are only two different types of alleles for fingers in the population. Determine the allele frequencies and then calculate the number of heterozygous and homozygougs dominant people on the island. Can anyone give me some sugguestions on how to start this problem?

A old old friend visited me, and he and I had a heated discussion on if high school wasen't the real world. He still beleives it is, I know it isn't. He's still in High School, so he dosen't know much about the real world. Do you guys have any good points I can come up with, to convince him.

The teacher wants me to choose something that will not require research since that will be a different essay. Everything I keep thinking of I think that does not require research is stupid, like Halloween vs. Christmas, winter vs. summer, being a mother vs. being a father.

Any more decent suggestions?

I've been out of school for awhile. But I've always wondered about this situation that happened to me in college:

I was studying for a midterm, and someone who had this professor before gave me a midterm from 2-3 years earlier. I studied my notes and looked at the old midterm to see what type of questions the test would contain, and what the structure of the test was like.

Is this cheating?

GPA 3.4 (They wrote 2.833 because I failed Physical Education, but I believe that does not get factored into the GPA UC Berkeley looks at)

Overall GPA so far, 3.562
Class Rank is 121 out of 587

I am sure I can improve my second semester grades for Sophomore year, I just had a bad semester because I was going through some family issues.

I am wondering what I can do to get into UC Berkeley as I really want to go there. I wanted to know things like can I still get in, how many AP's to take, etc.
