Start with wind, that is moving air, (that will make a wind turbing work, but is no good for anything else) it could be destructive wind, so if you cause trouble in your own place, then you will make life harder for yourself.

Assuming that I'm not wasting my time if your buddy is picked for best answer....
You might as include the entire verse....
... and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart
Now, if you trouble your own house, you inherit nothing and you (as the fool) shall obey those who are wise of heart.

No idea, but:
Reverbs 23:14 He that eateth of the Beans that are baked shall receive a vile and terrible wind.
Truthfully, I would hazard a guess along the lines of "if you upset your own household you'll receive a vengance of some sort".

He that brings trouble upon himself and his family, by carelessness, or by wickedness, shall be unable to keep and enjoy what he gets, as a man is unable to hold the wind, or to satisfy himself with it.

The covetous men who spare their riches to the hinderance of their families, will be deprived of it miserably. Even successful, his gains are of no real value. So the fool, thus acting, either comes to poverty, or heaps up for others. hope that helps
