I have bought one off the RNID website called Start to Sign! by Richard Magill and Anne Hodgson but I haven't found it very helpful.

I am studying BSL Level 1 and I want a book that will help me to construct simple sentences such as asking for directions, talking about the weather etc.

Thank you

i found that books with bsl grammar in were terrible - completely over complicated everything & just confussed me. i'd recommend getting the bsl dictionary (the big black one) and doing the grammar stuff in class. at the college i went to they had videos in the library that were helpful too, you could copy these if you want more help.
