Can i do work experience in accountancy field?

I am in yr 10 in school and i have to do work experience at the end of the year. Can i do work experience in accountancy field?

If you're in the states, I would consider looking into a program called INROADs that starts you off in the 10th grade with job training, interviewing, and hopefully landing a job w/ an accounting firm so that you can gain experience!
