I live in the uk and have been educated in the UK and Iam applying to a american university in Madrid.I have got everything prepared but I don't have letters of reccommendation(my teachers are taking so long).The deadline is the 31st for giving everything in.So iam going to give them everything apart from the letters and give them the letters as soon as I get them.Do you think that is ok?Also,time is running out do you think its too late?I hope theres spaces thanks

letter of recommendations are important so i would try and get it. you have a whole month. it will give a solid reason to go to that uni if you get the letters.

It seems very unfair of your teachers to take so long to write the letters for you if they knew the deadline was 31st. (31st of what month because there are only 28 in Feb ?) . Send in the rest of the stuff and enclose a letter telling the Uni you problem and that you will send the letters later,

Supply what you have with a covering letter saying your recommendations are delayed due to the slowness of the responsable teachers.

you should be asking the university admissions department this and explain the situation you are in.
