I'm trying to start a petition. If you think homework is more helpful than hurtful, say yes, and if you think it's helpful, just don't answer. Because you're wrong. It causes kids to stress out and leads to them not having a life outside of school. Childhood should be a time where your stress-free, but now kids are getting depression all over the place because of stress. Which is caused by homework and grades. So sign the petition with "yes." Who knows, maybe it'll lead up to something.

There is no way a piece of paper can last 230 years, period. I have old report cards that are 20 years old from the 7th grade that are nearly decomposed (all A’s & 1 B+ on the report cards). How can people possibly the original copy is on display? I challenge anyone to put up a valid argument a piece of paper would not decompose over 230 years.

I am applying to Mercersburg Academy. Mercersburg is a prestigious, private boarding school. The acceptance rate is around 35%. My grandfather, great-uncle, and aunt have all attended. My grades are excellent with the lowest at 98%. (these are honor courses) I felt the interview went quite well. What do you think my acceptance chance is. Please be honest. Thank you very much.

I was just thinking that the Germans & British appear to be very intelligent people. They appear to have invented & discovered lots. TV, telephone, radar, internet, laws of motion, engines and so on, maybe its their diet.

When my husband is made redundant, we will have 4 children, the youngest of which will be 2 and a half. His plan is to go to college full-time to train for a decent career. I would also love to go, but would we be able to claim benefits during this time or would the govenment see it as our choice that we're not earning and refuse our claim? Anyone know?

When I was in high school I screwed up my life a lot. During my senior year I was sent to juvenile detention center for 3 months and then entered a rehab for 1 month. In juvenile detention center my father was told to pick up my schoolwork and deliver it to me, but he only did that once or twice during the whole 4 months. Then, un-expectedly and directly from the court after completing rehab, I moved to California and got out of the court system. There was about two or three months left of school, in addition to the four months that I missed while in state control. I did not attend school in California because it would be pointless to enroll with only a few months left. A teacher at the juvenile court told me that because I was not in school due to legal reasons that it is illegal for the state of Kansas (where I was at the time) public schools to give me F's. Is this true? Does anyone know the name of the law?

I have attended college and received my B.A. in Communication a few years ago. I think that I would like to go on and continue my education but I am unsure of what discipline.

I have had a few jobs since graduation but have not found a career that I am passionate about. My wife told me a statistic that approx. 80% of college graduates don't work in the field that they studied in.

For those of you out there that have gone on, what made you choose the path that you did? And when did you know you wanted to go back to school?
