Buy her something she would like. Such as flowers, candy, a new cook book... then tell her.

First off, ask yourself why you failed the class? Did you just not do well on your tests? No homework? No reading of the class material? No extra credit available? If you explain what happened, just be HONEST with your mom and explain how you can do better. Just persevere and keep trying! Try getting tutoring from a friend or teacher to help overcome any struggle or problem you may need help with. Remember, many important people have failed on a number of different times doing something, but they kept trying. That's how we got to the moon or have electricity to power these computers! PERSEVERE OVER YOUR FAILURES. It probably won't be the last. Just try harder the next time. If your effort is all you got and it wasn't good enough, your mom will be supportive and understand that maybe the class is too much for you to fully understand at this point. It took my son three times to pass his algebra class. Good luck!

Did you try your best? Parents shouldn't get mad at their kids when they fail. They should be concerned. She will ground you, or take away some priviledges, but she shouldn't be mad. Just come out and say I failed. Tell her you might need some help from her. Talk about how, your under some pressure, or stress. It works every time for me.

Unfortunately, too much emphasis is placed upon grades, instead of young people being allowed to learn what they're interested in, and at a reasonable pace.
I'm not a big fan of the school system, as you can tell.
If a kid ever became wildly successful at something after school hours, many of the teachers and adminstrators would become infuriated.

Tell her you have something to talk with her about and that you hope she won't be too angry with you. Then tell her what happened. Don't blame it on anyone else, take the responsibility for what happened yourself. Let her know that you know what you did wrong (didn't study, goofed off, whatever) and that you have learned from this. You will live through it. She won't kill you. She'll just be disappointed and you will see it as "mad".

let her know that u worked hard or at least ur willing to work harder ( ie. with a tutor or watching less tv or hanging out less, etc). dont act all immature or dont blame it all on the teacher. if there is a prob with the teacher, u can say it, but also accept/take responsibility for failing. yes, she may be disappointed, but as long as you are mature about it and let her know that ur going to work harder (and mean it truthfully) it wont be that bad. hopefully all goes well ;-)

She's going to get mad anyways. Just let it go in one ear and out the other and try better next time. She had to yell at somebody and you just gave her a good reason. Don't let it get you down. That's what mother's do.

Be honest with her. She is going to find out. Tell her your struggling and go to her with some suggestions on how to improve for example suggest a tutor.
She will appreciate the honesty, and see how mature you are.

i don't think there is any way you can get her not mad. I mean really if you do something stupid and than tell her, that will get her more mad you know what i am sayin.
