I have a student with an early high school reading level/attention span, who needs to become familiar with the workings of businesses, and (especially) business vocabulary. What book will give her a general overview of businesses and aspects of working in a company? I want to give her a good introduction, without overwhelming her with too many details. A book with a glossary of terms is preferable, and one with an interesting layout is much preferable to one that is simply pages and pages of text.

Something like a textbook for a high school introduction class would be fine, if it's well organized and easy to read.

I may be paying for it myself, so I really need to know what is the most cost-effective way of financing this self-study. Are there any colleges that might offer it?

I know this sounds awkward... that's why I'd like to know if you think so too. I read this somewhere and I think it is very grammatically wrong but it seems that the author insists there's no problem with such expression. What do you think? "the marble is with freeze?" What does "with freeze" mean?

Thanks.

I am wondering about school lunch programs and the alternatives to unhealthy lunch programs. I want to know some healthy altertnatives and links I can find information from. I need to know what are, lets say, the top three school lunch programs based on nutritiousness (if that is a word) and the cheap school lunch programs that schools usually use. I need some information on the school foodservice program "Sodexho" the school program my school uses. Is Sodexho a decent program, and what would be a better replacement for it.
