Harry is meant to do his duty on his own. He doesn't and won't have time for a lover for a long time, and Hermione sees this and realizes it. I think she likes Ron because of this. She's Harry's friend and teammate, but she and Ron have a thing.

Ron as per the author's own admission. She sees Hermione as herself and although she admires Harry she has the hots for Ron.

Ron. Harry's too much of a lonely soul, and Ron's got the cute redheaded stubbornness.

RON!!!! of course come on. All the awkwardness and anger between them. I think she'd take Harry if she could but it would be a thing of convinence. Really she has a fetish for the red hair and comical lines.
