Hello. Where is best to study languages (English of course), in San Diego or San Fransisco? In your opinion. And why?

Thank you guys for your answers. Well, it is through a company, so I won't need to decide whether of these cities that have the best high schools. I like SF, and it is actually in Brokelyn if I would decide San Fransisco. So, is it nice to live in Brokelyn?

It is a hard decision.

Depends upon what you want from your studying. There are good schools in both cities. Perhaps the decision would be made not on whether the education was good but whether or not you felt at home in the city. Being a San Francisco native, I am somewhat prejudiced in its favor. I love the clear, crisp fall and winter nights and the foggy summer days. I love the hills and the parks, the opera and symphony, the museums and theaters, downtown shopping, fabulous restaurants, the sparkle of the bay, and the particular slant of light and aroma of the city.

But San Diego has the zoo and a Shakespeare company. It is close to the border and has fabulous Mexican food. It combines the charm of an old mission city with the modern one and has a real maritime feel.

Learning language depends upon interacting with excellent speakers of the language you are learning, and you can find that anywhere. Learning about your environment and feeling happy and safe there, helps you to be productive and keeps you on your track.
