I was told Gilbert had the best schools in the whole state of AZ so we moved there. My 5th grader goes to Gilbert El and I am not happy with the work he is bringing home. He's learning what he already learned in NY in the 3rd grade! Please help!! We will move wherever my children can get the best Education. Maybe that is out of Arizona altogether. That remains to be seen! Thank you!

Teachers are encouraged to promote parental involvement but some parents just don't want to be involved. PTA meetings and teachers conferances seem to be two things that most parents hate. Why is this? How could teachers be persuaded to participate more often?

I was sent a ranodom letter telling me I had joined and then was sent an introductory offer which I was told I had to pay for. I tried phoning but its an 0870 number and its all automated which is absolutely useless. I have now sent an email to them and am waiting for a reply. Anyone else had any experience with this guild? I am currently in college for Medical Transcription and will finish soon. I have been searching for jobs online to work from home, but they all require that you have 1 or more year experience!
