I'm the president of SADD/STAND at my school and I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for High School Red Ribbon Week.

Our school is asking everyone to wear red one day, slippers another (slip past drugs), crazy socks one day (sock it to drugs), and crazy hats on Friday (hats off to Just Say No to Drugs). In the past we did ties one day (tie one on against drugs) and had all students sign a pledge to stay drug free and posted them in the cafeteria and front office.
We've also done a door decorating contest and an anti-drug banner contest. They did the contests by homeroom or team, and for the door decorating contest they gave the class donuts and juice and for the team banners they gave the team money.

Rather than just red ribbons, have folks wear something red for a day, to show solidarity

o well I'm in middle school & on friday we get to where our slippers to school& we have these red ribbons that we where all week. hope i helped!!:)

i had to do this last week. all i suggest is don't draw something then do the circle with the line through it. my teacher told my class that if the judges see that, you already lost your chance to win. in ur in the pusd then this is a contest i'm not sure about the other ones. just use your creativity and let go wild. we can't tell you what to draw. only u no what u want to do even if u don't know u know it.also wat grade are u in?

my daughter's school is doing that all week as well.
they are doing different things every day.
monday- sock it to drugs...wear your craziest socks
tuesday- boot out drugs drugs...wear any kind of boots
wednesday- living drug free is no sweat...wear sweat clothes to school
thursday- tie down drugs...wear craziest tie you can find
friday- shade out drugs...wear your sunglasses to school
