If you don't tell her about the grade it will eventually come out. Whether it be by you, due to guilt, or by your teachers. Your best to be honest with her up front so that you don't lose her trust. Let her know that you know that you disappointed her but that you will try your best to make things better the next time. Hiding the grade is only going to cause more problems in the end. Once you lose even a little of someones trust it's a very hard thing to get back. Good luck!

You must come clean, because lying is always found out and you loose your credibility. I suggest you sit down with her to discuss it and have a plan ready for getting your grades up. You might say, mom, I know I need to study more. Can you help me? You could tell her you are going to pursue extra help from your teachers (but you must mean it). Be ready to be a bit humble and tell her you love her and you have disappointed yourself as well as her. Then give her regular progress reports on the grades (good and bad) you are getting and make sure she knows you are trying. I'm a mom and when my kids are trying, I have no problem. Good luck. I'll pray for you.

Tell her and maybe she can work with you herself or find someone ypu are comfortable working with to help ypu bring them where they should be. When yuo tell her make sure she knows you really did work hard and are not slacking. Tell her you would like help, or to work on a plan together to get your grades up. If you are serious about improving them she should not be mad at you. Don't hide your grades. She will talk to your teacher sooner or later. Believe me as a parents we do insist on seeing some of what is going on with you in your school life.

If you did your best ...show her the report card and give her the opportunity to help you.
If you could have tried harder, you need to accept the responsibilities for your actions. She, no doubt, expects to see a report card soon. She'll, most likely, be more upset if you hide, than if you're honest with her.

You're best off fessing up to it and getting it over, if you lie or try to hide it she will just find out anyway, and then it will be worse for you.
