Is Sri Lanka a paradise?

Sri Lanka is a country, and it's very nice but I don't know that I'd consider it to be paradise. If you're looking for the "literary" paradise, you're actually thinking "Shangri La" from Paradise Lost... a really great piece of fiction.

It's beautiful but a 20 year civil has nocked off some of the shine. Hope they settle the Tamil problem soon.
