i really want to improve. I want to get into UCB, or atleast another good school, but i don't know what to do. I have read books by barrons, kaplan etc. etc.

Also don't say hire a tutor, that's to expensive.

i'm thinking of taking my Plumbing city & guilds in september at college is it worth it or is it a load of rubbish that plumbers earn good money i started a plumbing course last summer which gave me a taster but i don't get a qualification in it and , to get work around my way you need minimum city & guilds or at least 3 years experience.

Tried to get with a plumber as apprentice/assistant but no luck !

should i bother ?

answers from plumbers or people in the same situation as me would be helpful !

My chapter has a policy that you can get in if you have all A's and just one B. But I know a few people who have two B's, one of which is an 89. Is there a way members can nominate them or bring them in as a special case to be considered for admission? Especially if their grades had improved the time that is usually looked at to make admission deecisions.

Who agrees with me that you should be able to go to school during the night instead of day? This is not only talking about college but high school as well.

I'm a terrible insomniac and I always wished I went to school at night than during the day lol. I have more energy and I am more attentive.

I am still in junior high. I would like to know my gpa on a 4 point scale. In my junior highs where i live we have 2 semesters, & 3 sections consisting of 6 weeks in each semester. making it 6 six weeks in a school year. 3 6 weeks in a semester, and 2 semesters in a school year. I Have made all a's all year so is it a 4.0 gpa? In the first '6 weeks' i made a: 95, 96, 94, 100, 96, and 101. So what would my gpa be? If you don't understand this... just tell me how to calculate my gpa. THanks, kay. :)
