ok so i know they say u cant sleep when u have a concusion cause they dont noe if u will wake up but y not?

Because concussion can cause bleeding and swelling on the brain, which can't be seen or monitored while you're asleep, but can be monitored while you're awake, so if you need treatment it can be provided quickly enough. Signs of brain swelling/bleeding can include slurring your speech, eyes dilating, dizziness, nausea, all of which are hard to detect while sleeping.
