In all honesty, I could care less what causes volcanoes to erupt. I do not plan on doing anything science (and by that I mean as a
career. I know that things like cooking count as science.) related in my life, so why should I have to learn it? Is it just a waste of money to force kids to learn about things they won't use in everyday life?

Can anyone tell me where the kitchens in Hogwarts are? I know they are behind the painting of a bowl of fruit and you have to tickle the pear to get in, but I don't remember what floor it's on. I don't have the book with me to reference. Can someone please tell me???

Over the school year i continued to have problems with my nine year olds vice principle.She is so mean to all the kids but when she sees a grown up looking she changes her toon and acts as nice as can be. It is so sickeneing but i cant get the right people to believe me or they are just covering up for her behavior. One example, the first day of school she made all the kids throw out their lunches because they were too loud in the cafeteria. My son was starving when i picked them up from school.He had nothing to eat the whole day there.That is just one example...their has been more that my son seemed to be her target..I have gone to the principle and his boss...nothing was done. Any thoughts?

I am fourteen years old and I am looking for something to do this summer. I have thought about volunteering, but I am not sure what is the best place to volunteer. I want to volunteer at a place where I can use my brain and really help. I know fourteen year olds are not really given these chances as much as older teens and adults, but there are some places out there.

I am going to be a freshman this fall at a school with over 2000 kids in it. I am severly scared and intimidated. Does anyone have any advice on how to meet others like me in a school this large? Does anyone have any tips on how to survive upperclassmen? (Please no be yourself's or just enjoy your time, cuz it will be over before you know it's)

Hi well I have an interview at a nursgin home tomorrow i just got my stna's so ive never worked at a nursing homes before.
since I am inexpereinced can someone give me some helpful tips on getting this job? there are other people applying also.

I really need this job and dont want to sound desperate, but i tend to be very shy and quiet. I just want to make a good impression and hopefully get the job. any tips?

I am a freshman in high school and I like really cant stand history. There is no way I am going to pass because I am like so not interested. My history teacher made me an offer. He said that if I like strip for him after class, he will like give me an A without ever having to do any homework. He said I am like really cute and just wants to like see my boobies. Hello, first i will tell you little background of me, because its goes with the question i want to ask you. i'm 20 yrs old, and went to college for 1 yrs and now i'm in summer school. i didn't went to any school until i became 11 years old. I'm having hard time in my english class or any class that has to do with reading or writting which all classes requred to write something. here is my question, i'm planning on quitting my college maybe for 1 yr of half of yr and study on my english, i have books i need in order to study, all i have to do is keep on studing and get everthing in my mind, then next i have problems with it writing stuff, i tenth to leave little words out like IS or ARE or (need or needs) and when teacher give us time to write in class, i make sure i don't do mistake and other stuff that i run out of time and don't finish my writing. I have more problems in my family house and alot more problems while i was growing up and still do. i'm not thinking of anybody but myself

Ok I am 12, female, and I am wondering if I am some sort of "genius". Well, not genius but somewhat smart. My IQ is 127 but not sure now because it was a while ago that I checked... People in my class are like, "Nerd..." and "You always get straight A's". But I get my grades effortlessly. I just think I am compared with idiots/dumb people and that might make me smart... I don't have a clue anymore! Help?
