My father was that way. He got to the point that he couldn't eat things that had mold in it. Things like Blue Cheese and stuff like that. Other than that, you just have to watch what medicines you get.

I think the reaction, if you are allergic, is the problem, not what you can or can't do. If you are allergic, you might break out in hives and have trouble breathing, etc. The doctors need to know this so they don't try to treat you with penicillin and cause this reaction. If you've ever been given penicillin and had no problem, then you don't need to worry about it.

In the most exteme case, an allergic reaction can kill you almost instantly. A minor reaction could be a rash.

are you asking what can you do as an alternative to taking penicillin? you tell your doctor of the allergy and he will prescribe you something else.

Well I am allergic to ALL penicllin!!!!!!!!! when I get sick, the doctor tells me to take some special medicne that does the same sort of thing!!!!!!!!

i know someone that had a reaction once. they said that now they stay away form the medicine. talk to your doctor about times when you should stay away from medicine because of its ingredients and always check out the medicines you are taking with your doctor. it really doesn't have to contrrol your life.
