does anyone know where i can find a lot of info on child abuse and the laws of it on the internet?

i need info on what is the time ppl spend in jail or what happends to the ppl who do abuse children. i need to beable to come up with a 2 page report for school by friday on the laws and what happends to them.

Question About Equations Of Lines?

I have a problem that's written out like this:

x+2y=8

I'm supposed to find the slope, or gradient, and the y intercept. I know how to do it on a formula like y=mx+c but how you would you find it on something like this?

The second part of the question says "find the equation of the line which passes through the points (3,4) and (-2,-11)". Again, I know how to do it with the other type of formula.

If anyone would be so kind to explain it to me? Thanks a lot in advance :)

what is the sub set of this?

the question states, a={ x I x is a brand of ice cream } , b={ breyers, ben & Jerry's, Haagen-Dazs }

determine whether a=b, a is a subset and = to b, B is a subset and = to a, a is a subset of b, b is a subset of a or none of these.

I'm confused! Is A a subset of b, or is B a subset of a? That's what I'm trying to figure out because a can be infinte posiblities but b list the types, so I'm lost! Help!
