I have a research paper where I need a topic that is not one sided or narrow. Then I need a hypothesis to go along with the theory. I just need to figure out what is a good thing to write about. I was thinking of writing about the border issue or about the immagration stuff. What do you think?

The other night I had to walk across campus (which is huge) alone at night, so I called campus security and had them send over two student volunteers, called Safewalkers, to walk me to my apartment. They always send one guy and one girl. I hadn't even been drinking (AT ALL) so we just made small talk as we walked. That was last week. Today a new edition of the student newspaper came out, and there is a "shout out" from the guy who safe-walked me home asking me out on a date. It doesn't have my name, but it has identifying information that makes it clear it's about me and it's from him. I'm really creeped out! I thought Safewalk was supposed to be a safe thing, but now there are guys using it to pick up girls? What if I need to be safewalked again? Can I really trust the Safewalkers not to perve on me? Am I over-reacting, or was it inappropriate of him to put that in the school newspaper?

I want to move out of the US, but I also want to be a Lawyer. I don't want to go to the UK (or other European country) and have to do a bachelors in Law and then a Masters. I already hold an accredited bachelors degree in Sociology and Psychology. Is there anything I can do to get into an LL.M program in Europe without wasting my time doing the LL.B.? How about become a Lawyer in other countries? What are the procedures? Any info and links will be highly appreciated.

P.S. I'm also really interested in Italy, so any info would be good.

I have traced my ancestry to ancient Persia, or today's Iran, and I would like to trace this back to the original one celled microorganisms, I can understand the human weakness of religions, to explain away anything not understood. Maybe Zeus, or Zoroaster created life, they are much older than Jehovah or his son Jesus Christ.

University of Illinois at Springfield has a requirements of three years of college preparatory mathematics, selected from Algebra, geometry, advanced Algebra, pre-calculus, trigonometry and calculus.

I passed the first semester of Algebra but failed the second, then I took Algebra A and Algebra B which is basically Algebra over two years. Now I'm in Geometry.

When I graduate, I guess i will have 2.5 years of math, but if I may say so myself, i'm smart. I will have college credit from A.P. U.S. History, English, Psychology and Western Civil when I graduate.

Should I apply? Can they accept me on a contingency basis?

i'm currently going to a community college and i'm going to apply to transfer next fall. i have a 3.6 gpa, but i'm active in my college. i'm in circle k international which is a community service based club and i do at least 25 hours of community service per month. i'm also the vice president for this year. even though ive only been in the club for little over a year i recieved various awards. i'm also a part of the honors transfer program which i take honors courses and it details that in my transcript. what's bothering me though is if its better to have a great gpa like 3.8+ or an good gpa like 3.4-3.7 with a lot of extra-curricular activities? im afriad that a gpa like 3.4-3.6 wont get me to my dream college ucla, but i know that extra curricular it adds a competitive edge. i want to run for president for the next term, but its a lot of work and it might keep my gpa around 3.5/3.6. i know if all i did was study and hw i can easily get over 3.8. what should i do??
