Higher Education (University +) - October 2006

I'm looking into the field of education (possibly educational psychology) and just wanted to see if anyone had any opinions on any graduate programs in NY and NJ. I'm looking into Rutgers, NYU, Kean and Fordham and would appreciate any opinions. Thanks!

I really have no intrest in any of the subjects, except health.. i lvoe health.. but there is no ap health...
What ap classes look best on college applications? And the easiest?
( i know it depends on the student and teachers in general... but as i mentioned before i dont really have much intrest in any subjects, i seriously hate math and science and english is okay..but i know i am going to take ap calcus when im a senior)

I pulled a muscle in my back and had to miss my mid-term in my history class. Now my professor says I can only make up the exam during his office hours, which fall during the time of my economics class. I've already missed 2 days of classes, and I can't afford to miss another day of economics, but at the same time I really need to make up this exam... should I fight him and try to get him to move my make-up date, or just suck it up and miss another economics class? My economics professor isn't exactly being nice about this situation either, he doesn't want me to miss any more days.

how do I punctuate... "Is it realistic?." OR "Is it realistic?". OR just leave it as "Is it realistic?" I looked for it in the handbook and did not find an example

Hi,

I plan on going into the field of Science. I have some options to choose from but I'm stuck.The only science course I will be taking is Biology which is basically going over everything. I can pick up three electives. I have decided on two, but need one more. There are electives like Ecology, chemistry, ect. What would be a good choice to prepare myself?

I want to study business but it seems like the UC schools concentrate more on science whearas the CSU schools have many differnt business options. UC schools are better schools so i was wondering if it is smarter to go to a UC or a CSU as a business major?

I recently research about prons and cons of life experince degrees in US and finally select athlantic international university. but i have an important question. I am inventor with good resume,in some internatioanl inventions some universities give me sholarships for master,but i have asociate degree with 67 credit passed.Could i apply for life experince bachelor degree and then use it to apply for master degree?

At my school, in order to have your own dorm room, you have to pay $500. I didn't pay it, so I got a roommate. About a month later, he moved out and moved in with his friend, and now the school is telling me I have to pay $500.

I don't think I should have to pay it because I NEVER asked for my own room and it's not my repsonsibility to find a roommate if I never asked the first one to move out. He just left one day to live with his friend. I didn't even know he had left until I came into the room one night.

Now I've tried to find people, but everybody I find either has a roommate or they paid for their own room. But I don't think I should even have to look for a roommate since I never wanted my own room in the first place.

Any suggestions on how I should handle this?

I saw one years ago (a 4 year RN program) in Florida, I believe. It was advertised in one of my mother's nursing magizines. I was 100% online, and the only program I have seen where you could take as little or as long as you needed to complete the classes!.. Have you seen any nursing programs like this?!

I've decide to return to school after finally figuring out my passion in life. It turns out I am extremely interested in physics and how things work so I wish to learn more and make it my profession.
