I am proud of him. He will have a associate degree in graph design. I want to get him something to let him know how proud I am of him. I am on a limited income any idea what I can get him?

How limited an income? - a new MAC would be a great gift for a AA in graphic design.

I am happy for both YOU and for HIM... As to what to get him.. I am sure that he realizes that you will not be able to get him a new car or a new computer... but what? Does he already have a computer? I suppose he does.. Does he have a nice computer desk? If not, that might be nice.. around $200-300. Does he have a good 5 GB flash drive? That would be nice and very necessary nowadays.. the cost is about $90 or $120.. but very very useful

If he doesn't have it already get him the book "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" By Dr. Seuss! It is a cute gift for someone who just graduated and is on their way to starting their life! I got it as a gift when I graduated and I thought it was very cute and thoughtful. Everytime I look at it it brings me to smile and gives me good feelings and motivation. Plus it's a book so it's not too expensive! Congrats to your son! Best Wishes!!

First of all congratulations on your son's accomplishment. You should be proud of yourself as well.

Have you asked him what tools he might need for his new career? He will be starting a new job, how about new clothes? Maybe a some pants and shirts? You do not have to necessarily spend a lot, but make whatever you spend count. I am sure whatever you are able to get him, it will be appreciated.

Give him something he always liked when he was little. Or a new laptop with all the graph design stuff programed into it.

I don't know what kinds of tools he already has, but it depends on his needs. Perhaps a drawing table, a nice set of pencils, etc. could be appropriate, but if he's finishing school he might already have some of these things. Perhaps you could talk to him about it.
