If you get nervous, the best way to get better at public speaking is by practicing. Seriously - a few years ago, I used to get full-blown anxiety attacks before I had to teach. I took every opportunity I had to give a talk until I got over it - I gave a lecture today, no stress at all. Eventually it gets easier, just PRACTICE!

Don't view the large group as an entity. When speaking, focus on one individual and talk to them. Then move to another individual in another section. Keep doing this every 20-30 seconds and the "group" thinks you are talking to them while you have fooled yourself into speaking with individuals only.

I was a comedian for 4 years, the fact that I am no longer tells you how good I was , lol.

Before everyshow I would think of something really bad that is happenning somewhere. After that being on stage didn't seem so bad. If I could laugh and have fun, I was pretty blessed.

First you have to know your topic and kind of read a lot about it and then practise in front of the mirror and look all the facial expressions and that will give you some ideas of the gestures you do and when you in front of people always look to them or you will talking to yourself and everybody gone, when answering questions tray to be focus and direct with the answer, most of all confidence. good luck!!!

Practice makes perfect:

Practice the full presentation at least ten times before the actual presentation.

You will develop confidence in your information and delivery. Chances of forgetting will minimize.

Now, get someone to watch you present, and ask for criticism.

Do it until you are satisfied with your presentation.

Know what you are talking about.

What's always worked for me is scan the crowd as you talk, pause every so often and lock on one person, imagine that what you are saying is only to them. Don't hold it for too long, then move on to the next. Has worked like a charm for me.
