Would you tell your professor if he/she corrected a paper of yours and docked you a few points for not single spacing your APA references, but you know that all your APA manuals tell you to double space references? Or, would you let it slide, and just single space them in their class?

SIM, SMU, NUS & NTU offer degree courses, how should i select ?

Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry offers a diploma / double diploma which is more flexible (can complete in shorter / longer period). But i don't have a degree now, should I select the degree (less flexible, need more committment) or diploma ?

What is the maximum age to enroll in college?

Most of my friends go straight to college after graduating high school. I want to work as a fashion model first but afraid I would be too old to go to college after I finished my career.

I hear the average age is 18-22. What if I enroll around the age of 27? would that be too old?

Hi everyone, I am preparing now to apply to UCAS for a LLB in couple of Unis around England, was wondering if some of you are doing law already and can advise me on couple of issues I have. Major problem is a ‘personal statement’; don’t know what to write, and how to write. I went on to American websites (www.essayedge.com) and they recommend talking about your personality, what you have done in life to make you different, special, unique, not about why you want to study law. Nevertheless UCAS says I should mention reasons as to why I chose law. Also can I write in casual style, make it into a story?

Maybe some of you could recommend good Universities (of course we know Oxbridge is best, but I wouldn’t want to go there, something more down to earth and fun).

Long story short. I abused some things (illegal things...) when I was younger, and this has effected my Long term & short term memory. I am not able to LEARN things without repeating them OVER AND OVER again for days... and if I stop doing that... I forget. It usually takes me a year to get good at something. Im making A's in school (miraculously) but even after I study for weeks for an exam and get the A on it, the information I studied is immediatly lost. I took a Quiz last thursday, I studied my butt off, and had it down. Aced the quiz and then was given a POP quiz on monday and couldnt remember anything... I need a good memory... what can I do to improve it. I need to learn how to LEARN things and NOT memorize them... but dont know how. Please help me.

I have been on openuniversity site and found the MBA + other programs to be interesting, though it is going to be challenging with fulltime job. I am still curious and not sure how this degree is valued being from OU. Not sure how the Business and Corporate world takes it. Not just MBA but other programs from OU, what is the reaction in corporate world.
