Pray that Jesus helps you. Jesus helps in times of need. All you need is Faith and Believe in Him. Ask Him to come into your heart and you won't ever regret it. He will guide and direct your steps in everything. My life, attitude, behaviour changed for the better after I accepted Jesus.

Heb. 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Jer 29:11-13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Matt 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

I pray all goes well for you with your studies. God Bless!

There are many different studying techniques and many ways to learn, find what works best for you. Some like quiet music, others just like it quiet.
Focus on the "here and now" when in class. If you are having problems with friends or family put that aside when studying. You can focus and work on those things - when you are done studying.
Take good notes, record your classes and listen again later. Keep your books, papers and study materials organized.
I used different colored highlighters when studying and reviewing notes to highlight major points that would be on tests (yellow) and problem areas that I needed to work on or get more info (red)
Stay balanced by making and keeping a good schedule that includes eating healthy, sleeping, studying, exercise and fun free time.
There is a great book called "College Success and Beyond" it helped me a lot!

Keep your body and mind fresh before starting studies. If you are feeling sleepy take a shower. If you are distressed and angry, do something like dancing, listening to soothing music or just think positively. Think of all the good past things in your life. Once you are in the right mood, nothing is going to stop you. Wish you all the luck!
