I'm in this increadably bs class called info studies, and trying to do research on a topic for it. I'm suposed to write an argumentitive theis statement with an answer, and my point of view as not all agruments have answers, or even possible answers.

I currently go to a very good liberal arts college and am studying to get my BA with a double major in mathematics and molecular biology. I am thinking of transferring to one of the top math/science schools in the nation. However, I would end up taking nearly identical courses, since I would be taking lots of courses on the math/science school anyway. The two schools are Scripps College and Harvey Mudd College. Will the BA/BS and which college matter to graduate schools?

I have a double major (real estate/finance) and got a good gpa. I was wondering from people already out in the real world or who work in these fields if they are a good one to go into the real working world with. I heard that engineering wasn't a good field because of the influx of foreigners who really excel in that area (china, etc) but I think that might be rubbish. Should I (1) finish these majors and try out the real world (2) finish these majors and try to stick out with a few more years trying engineering or computer-related major (3) Go to graduate school for business (if it is even worth the time, money, and stress >>> which I guess is another question on its own)

okay here goes...
I'm in college right and I'm about 6 hours away from home and I went home this weekend to find out that i have absolutely no money in my bank account at all. I owe probably over 40 $ right now.
and to top it off my car payment was already sent (300.00) and i have a phone bill of about 150 and my childcare is about 80 $.
when I was home i had a job and was making enough to get by. now that I'm at college I have no money right now all i have on me is like 50 $. It is getting cold here and my daughter needs winter clothes and other things.
i get money every other week but it's not enough. and I am supposed to be looking for an aprtment for me and my daughter right now but how am i going to pay bills when i barely have money? the only jobs available for me would be minimum wage. how would i juggle that,family time and homework?
I am about ready to quit and just get a job until I am financially ready for college.
any opinions or suggestions would help.

i moved from texas to colorado in july of 2005. it is now the end of september 2006. i am 21. how do i get classified as in-state tuition/residency if i am not 22, or close to being 23, and i am not married. my parents still reside in texas, i moved here with my boyfriend and his parents. is my only option to get residency going to be this 'emancipated from parents' thing i hear about? if so....what do i have to do to get 'emancipated'. how does it work for tuition purposes with a college. i have searched and searched and all this teen amncipated minor stuff comes up..which has nothing to do with ME. i emailed an advisor and she thinks the only way is you have to be 23 years old. so im thoroughly confused. im sure there is millions of people who have moved to different states and been granted in-state tuition after being a non-resident. so please help!!
