Stay in college, and pay off loans later. This is the worst time to even consider it. My second son mentioned it a while back, I cried for 3 days. He is still in college. Have you heard the news? The government is trying to renig on the college tuition programs, also the back door draft is in. Now is not the time!!!
Believe me I have been there thru 2, my husband and my oldest son......during peace time and it was -ell.
Now is not the time.

I joined the Air Force right out of high school and did a four year enlistment. Right after my enlistment I used the GI to help finance me through college. I think it was one of the best things I could have done. The experiences I had and the friends I made are invaluable not to mention the fact that I've been promoted quicker than my peers in my last two jobs. My previous and current employers both said that they give preference to ex-military personnel. If I didn't have such a great job right now, I would strongly consider getting a commission and getting back into the Air Force. Good luck in your decision but i think you should strongly consider joining.

Sure. The avionics program is amazing. If you do the reserves, you can still go to college full time, get the GI Bill, 200-300/mo for the "one weekend", and hands on training. --- Ssgt, USMC-R

Look into the Air National Guard. They have great benefits and depending on what career you go into you could get a sign on bonus... More info http://www.goang.com/
