Please tell me what sets apart your university or college: I need to know specific details about your institution. Thanks! :-)

I am considering going to law school and of course need to take the LSAT to get in. I have looked over various prep courses and I was wondering if a preparation course is really needed to get a high score on the test. Have any of you done well without one?

What I mean to say is, how is it that college students can afford to live on their own(away from parents) and only work a part time job. Right now I have a full time job, and I do ok, but I can't imagine making much less or having less hours and still being financially stable. How do they have lives aside from college and work, and don't tell me they don't I know plenty of college students who still go out and do things. I ask because I hope to start college soon, and it's not in my hometown, so living with the parents isn't an option really.

to me us australian are robbed of their high school experience...look at american schools they have football teams CHEERLEADERS...pep rallies ect they all show such spirit when they come together during their games which are mostly played on a firday night outside of school times. Why is it in australia we have non of these including school spirit (some school may apply)?
i would have loved to go to a school that had heaps of extra cirricular acitivies..who agrees taht we were robbed...and would u like to have gone to a school such as the one in america (with the qualities listed above)..without the violence?

I'm 26 and entering college for the first time, tomorrow. I waited so long to enter school...well, let's just say family circumstance change (read: newly single mom). I was wondering if anyone else started their college education later, and what advice do you have for me?
Thanks in advance,
