to me us australian are robbed of their high school experience...look at american schools they have football teams CHEERLEADERS...pep rallies ect they all show such spirit when they come together during their games which are mostly played on a firday night outside of school times. Why is it in australia we have non of these including school spirit (some school may apply)?
i would have loved to go to a school that had heaps of extra cirricular acitivies..who agrees taht we were robbed...and would u like to have gone to a school such as the one in america (with the qualities listed above)..without the violence?

No I don't think we are robbed - our country is not America. That is their culture, not ours.

There are plenty of extra curricular activites in schools if you want to get involved in them. I went to a small public high school in a regional area and there were plenty of sporting events you could compete in against other schools, plenty of non-sport ones as well.

Without the violence? Are you saying that all American schools are violent? They aren't.

I think you're getting a tad confused about what Amercan Education is really like and what the US media (TV shows, news etc) portray school life to be like.

You are lucky. All that crap distracts from education. People are more tied up in the football game that passing chemistry. There is a reason US public education is ranked as low as it is. Trust me, that stuff is useless and distracting.
