I am enrolled in an accredited though a non-ivy league school. While it is a rewarding experience, I'm not sure I see a payoff. Any recent "B" school MBA grads who can speak to this?

i really believe that i went to a cheap school that grades real hard, makes you work your butt off, lowers everyones grades at every angle and makes it really hard to learn accounting. the instructors act like buffoons and grade harshly. they don't teach at all. am i going to be successful getting an MBA?

I know becoming familiar with who your professors are and visiting their office hours can be good for you both in terms of being a good student and having someone to write you recommendation letters and offer mentoring, etc. My question is, how can I approach my professors and show them I'm interested without appearing overly obseqious or too much of a kiss-up? What are some simple points to keep in mind when trying to form positive relationships with my professors? I admit, I get nervous when I think about it, especially when professors are so busy and have other students to worry about, so I don't want to waste his/her time, either.

I will graduate from my college with an AAS in Business Finance spring/summer 07. Although I like my classes and professors so far, and I want to finish getting this associates degree before I go onto something else, I’m beginning to see that a permanent job in business may not be for me.
I love being around people especially children, and have been told by many people that I should work with the mentally or physically disabled.
Unfortunately, I have no idea what careers are available or what I should get a degree in to be able to work with those children. The only ideas I and my family have been able to come up with are: teacher, physical therapist, speech therapist, psychologist, and consoler. But I know there have to be other job opportunities out there.
So, if anyone who work(s, ed) with mentally/physically disabled children could give me some ideas of what you do, your job title, what you went to college for, where you went and your average class size I would appreciate it!

I'm about to graduate with my bachelors degree and would like to go on to graduate school someday soon. But my gpa is not good enough to get me accepted. How does that work? Do I have to take some classes to get my gpa up to the acceptance point?
