The tuition for these types of schools tend to be higher than a state college. I know someone who owes $30K for an associate degree. Also, some companies look down on schools like ITT Tech. I don't know why for sure, but I've been told that the students who attend these schools are not what you would call the cream of the crop.

I would think long and hard before enrolling. Do some research...it might save you thousands in the end.

I heard that it doesn't really matter what college you go to, as long as you have the degree. A business won't refuse you if they see that you went to some no-known college in Tennesee, as long as you have the degree.

Otherwise, it really depends on what you are studying. I mean, if you're trying to become a PCP, Primary Care Physician, then of course you wouldn't be gonig to somewhere like ITT Tech.

Now, if ITT Tech and some other college both had the major you were going for, then who cares! Which one do you like best? Which one do you think will give you the most oppurtunities? Find the one that is best for you.

The degrees that they are referring to, are "certificates of completion", and not really degrees, coming from a "Techinical Institute".

Though, a lot of people "recognise" those schools as "training schools" as they are specific in area of training and that is it. So, it meets businesses needs at the time.

But, nothing is going to replace the need for a College Degree as it is more recognised as "you took the time" to do it right!

I wish you well..
