I'm going to be a senior this fall and am in the process of applying to college. However, I'm not sure how many I should apply to. Money for the application won't be too much of an issue because I'm eligible for the fee waivers. How many should I apply to? Thanks!

I have an AA in Business from a Florida Comm. college, GPA is 3.5, want to get into BU's school of management. No real work experience. People say it's hard, but I won't find out if I've been accepted until a couple of weeks before I have to move from Florida to Boston! So, I need to know if I have a sure chance of getting accepted. (SAT scores average)

I am in my mid 40's is that too old to go to law school? I would have to borrow money. Will I be "productive" long enough to pay off the debt? Am I too old to be hired by a law firm? I have TONS of life experience will that help? I already have a BS in secondary education so would only need to take LSAT and go to law school.

Thanks for your input.

Should I try calling them and asking if they even do interviews with prospective students?
Should I check on their webpage, or collegeboard.com?

Are interviews even that effective in boosting your chances of getting accepted to a certain university?
What's the correct thing to do in this situation?

On Internet pages about universities, I always find these two words... "undergraduate admissions", "graduate programs", etc. what do they mean? I'm a high school student about to graduate, so I'm trying to understand this. English is my second language, so sometimes I get confused. Please, help!

I’m divorced with no kids, is it too late to pursue a degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering? I do have 10 years experience in the field as a Drafter/Designer, however many of my friends are telling me school is too hard after the age of 30.

i am about to get my A level results, and lets say i dont think ive got what i needed, was supposed to do biochemical engineering at UCL, which would have been awesome, my second choice was economics at essex, but doubt that i have got the grades for either, at A level i studied physics, biology and economics. bizzarly enough i think i did worse in economics which is supposed to be far easier, so even if i went through clearing i couldnt do economics, which is what i thought would have been my back up subject f i couldnt go to ucl, soo i need a new university to go to and a new subject to do, so i need any ideas anything really, where is good, what is good? i think i am going to end up getting CCC poss worse which is upsetting after being predicted A's. p.s retaking is not an option i would end up jumping off a cliff if i had to go back to my college. Anyway thanks for reading, 10 points and a big clap on the back for any good answers.

I know I'm going to like Cincinnati...and I really want to leave Boston...but will I end up living in Cincinnati or will it be likely that I head back to Boston. I'm not one of those people that wants to run away and never come back, but at the same time I'm not a person who wants to come home for good either. Which side do you think will win out? There are cities out there where I would have loved to go to college in but there just weren't any fits there, such as Savannah Georgia, Charleston South Carolina, and Santa Fe New Mexico. If you have personal experience with something similar or you just have an opinion please contribute.
