I have an AA in Business from a Florida Comm. college, GPA is 3.5, want to get into BU's school of management. No real work experience. People say it's hard, but I won't find out if I've been accepted until a couple of weeks before I have to move from Florida to Boston! So, I need to know if I have a sure chance of getting accepted. (SAT scores average)

No way of knowing "for sure" until that letter comes. You might call the school's admission office and find out what the usual expectations are for grade point average and SAT scores and whether an AA is acceptable or a BA is required (you must know that). This information is available on the internet and in books comparing colleges. Keep your options open and try to plan a move to Boston in advance just in case. If you are not accepted this year keep trying but not just for one particular school. Cast a broader net. Doesn't your community college have an advisor available?
Good luck!

The School of Management is extremely hard to get into and basically survive. While you have a good GPA...it's a community college. SAT scores don't really matter as much as your well-roundedness as seen through your extra curricular activities. If you have a stunning teacher recommendation that helps too.

Transfer students are less likely to get into BU than incoming new freshmen.

There is no way of knowing until you get the letter. You have a good GPA, but so do many others, and they might have better than average SAT scores. I hope you plan on living in a dorm. It's nect to impossible to find a place to live here in a couple of weeks before school starts.

You should check the SAT range for Boston U students on the US News & Report web site and see if you fit in.

While it is impossible to predict there are MANY fine business schools in the Boston area that you can attend.

Ironically my daughter left Boston three days ago to drive across the USA to go to graduate school in California.

You have a good chance, but it is a gamble, it's a well known school. Have you a fallback? It would be better.
