I'm going to college in the fall and I need $2,632 more for my first semester. I already have the loans that the fafsa gave me so I need another private loan. The only problem is I'm 18 so I don't have any credit and my mother has filed a bankruptcy so she can't co-sign. I really need a loan or a grant does anyone have advice?

I am a single mom of 8 children and i would really love to attend college but have no money to do so. I live in Rochester, N.Y. and I do know that there are government organizations that give grants for a number of reasons, further education being one of them but not knowing how to get in touch with any of these places or even knowing how to begin. Help would be completeely appreciated

I couldn't afford the tuition in my college so I stop taking courses and notity the college. Now they want to charge me with the full tuition for the year saying that it says so in the handbook they first gave me. Can they do that?

I mean I didn't take half of the courses this year and I let them know I couldn't afford it, and that I would need to take a year off.

I went to school for nursing, and I dropped b/c it was a little too expensive. I did get the pell grant, and a student loan from the state, but those only helped with tuition and books. turns out, i dropped a little too soon, and i owe the school money. i cant go back to school until i pay them off, but its taking me forever to find a job. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
