This is the very first sentences of the intro....

Revenge is like a flame that feeds on rage. At some point it can get so overwhelming that it overpowers the mind, and to the sense, blindness occurs.


does it make sense? Do you understand what I am trying to say? Is this a fragment? Does it posses good sentence structure?

I need some serious constructive criticism.

i did an experiment on the energy in sunlight. i measured the temperature of an aluminum block sitting in the sun for 30 minutes and kept track of what degree celsius the thermometer gave me each minute. i've written up my report (including making a graph), but it lacks a thesis and a conclusion...because i don't understand what the experiment is supposed to prove...i just wrote what i did for the experiment and what happened...i'm at a loss, seriously. i feel like there should be something more to the experiment than "it got hot," but what???

me and my friends(about 6 of us) plan on skipping school tomorrow and on halloween since were going on a trip to columbia university and neither of us wanna go and nobody really goes to school on halloween..we just plan on going to soho and skateboarding..then going to 42nd when schools out and playing some laser tag...then back to harlem to out pizzaria and my friends house..halloween were probly going to yellow rat bastard to help my friend buy some stuff...and thats it..my mom said i dont have to go to school on halloween and that she doesnt care if i roam around tomorrow afterschool but i cant just go places during school becuz i can get picked up by cops..should i just skip anyway since its only one day??

Hello, we learned a little over a year ago that our son was autistic. Last year we moved to North Texas and learned about Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) which we enrolled our son into. They are great and we started to see improvement as well as receive some coaching ourselves. A little after we enrolled with Our Children's House (Baylor) and the improvements were even more noticeable (We love you Stephanie!). A couple of months ago we had the 599 test for our son and we have medically confirmed that our son is in the autistic spectrum (we already knew). With all this we enrolled with Frisco ISD Special ED where they have a small class for autistic children. It is not going well. They have been very patronizing with us and it appears that their philosophy is to "hammer" adaptation into the children. This only stresses our son more and we have seen bad behavioral changes. What they do is an abosolute mystery since they claim that ALL processes are covered by privacy laws. Any help?

660 and 610 on two SAT IIs (my highest so far), 1700 on my first SAT although I have improved it and I will be taking it again. 23 on my first ACT although I have taken the test again.

However I have a 3.85 GPA with 2 APs junior year and 5 senior year. I took one college class concurrently with high school my junior year and one more in the summer after. I got As in both classes.

I really don't think my test scores are good indicators of my ability or will to succeed in college, but will the admissions officers see that?

I really want to get in, any advice would be nice. Thanks.

I am a freshman at UC Berkeley majoring in molecular and cell biology. I took Calculus I at a university my junior year of high school; however, I know that most medical schools want two years of math. Therefore, I was wondering if it would be sufficient if I took Calculus II at a community college in the summer time. Would medical schools accept this? Would these two classes together fulfill the one year math requirement? Please answer this question only if you have enough knowledge/experience about this topic. Thank you!

My 12 year old son needs toturing so bad. And I can not afford it. Due to illness in the family I am snowed under in Medical bills. We have no medical insurance. Anyhow he has severe learning disabilities and I can not find any scholorships to help. Does anyone have any ideas? He is such a sweet child and not a behavioral problem at all. If i had to describe him I would say he is extremely talented. And his IQ is above average. He just can not get it from his head to the paper. Thanks to one and all in advance

The Prussian school system was divided into a few different schools. Some would teach the kids how to think properly (the ones who would be the future leaders). Other schools would teach the kids how to somewhat think. However, the majority of schools would exist solely to teach the children to be obedient.

In the 1800s, all of the founders of "public" education in the United States copied this system straight from Prussia. This is why the inner city schools are so bad and why the suburban schools fail to teach children to think properly.
