right now i am a Jr in high school. My average GPA is a 2.0. I am a member of SADD, Link Crew(its a leadershipe role model group that only the best of the best can be chosen for lol its by the teachers, its ment to help with the new freshmens coming into high school) and Service club. I work 15 hours every week at my job, and I try to help out at school and the community functions the best i can when i have the time. Will my GPA really bring me down? everything else is what they are looking for, I am a hard worker, i am motivated and love people, when i want something and really focus on it i can doa really good job. I want to be a health teacher. I am terrible at math and i tend to procrainate which explains my GPA being terrible. If i had a great Essay and recamondations will i get a good chance of going to SUNY Cortland?

Ok so i live with my boyfriend of 4 years we lived together for 2.I dropped out of highschool and recieved my g.e.d. now I want to go to college.But the catch is I dont have money and i am in debt,just a little.Financial aid wont let me get anything because they said some stuff of where I need to be 24 or be married to qualify.You guys are probably thinking use your parents, but my parents cut me off when I was 15 years old. So i dont know what to do,everything i need you need a cosigner.I dont know what to do.I just want to go to college.

I have been thinking a lot lately about going to college. I am married with 5 children between the ages of 8 & 12. I also work full time. Do any of you have similar circumstances? I have 3 children with autism and one doctor wonderd if I had autism as well. Looking at my medical files he noticed I was diagnosed with ADHD-Anxiety and Depression..He told me these could easily be masking any assesment that I was Autistic.....At 37 this is a bit hard to deal with.Are there standards docs use to look at adults in my situation?..

My sister just opened a new daycare a couple of months ago. She is trying to raise money by selling tickets for Thanksgiving Dinners to help with the purchase of playground equipment. We want the ticket to be turned in when the person picks up the plate of food. How can we word it on the ticket so that they know not to lose that ticket and to turn it in to pick up their meal. I got my undergraduate degree from a not well known and not very good university (Ohio Northern - I am sure you have never heard of it). Although I could have gone to several very very good schools for very little cost, my parents made me go there because they went there. I felt that the presence of it's name on my resume was worse than not including it, but is there anyway around that for application to a consulting firm? I am including a masters/phd from UCLA.

I recently sent my May 2006 SAT scores to 4 colleges and payed the 9.50 per college fee (all done on Collegeboard.com). I took the SATs again this October and got a higher score, which I did not expect. However, I already sent my first set of scores and don't want to pay to re-send my recent, better scores. Do the scores you sent to the schools get updated after you've re-taken the SATs or do they only send the initial scores? Thanks.

When captioning a picture, what is the proper way to do it?

Example: There's a picture of me standing to the left of my friend Mike.

Would I caption it:
1) "Mike and I" (are in the picture),
2) "Mike and me" (he's first in the picture) or
3) "Me and Mike"(it's my picture anyway, so I should be first)?

I see people doing it every which way, but it bothers me. I'm so confused! >_< Thanks for your help!

If i'm currently doing 12 credits, to make me a full time student, and then withdrwaing from a class that would make me become a 8 credit student. will this effect my financial aid or anything? obviously other than wasting the money i allready spent on the class cause its too late to get a refund
