what is the difference between a pyramid and a prism?
and what is the same?
easy 10 points for best answer!!

A pyramid has 4 triangles for the cornerstones, and a square for the base. A prism has 2 trangles, and 3 rectangles. They're both similar because they both represent triangles, but they stand in a different form.

A prism can but cut anywhere along it's cross section and the cross section will have the same shape and area.
A pyramid has a base and a pointed top. It doesn't have a cross section I don't think.

Pyramid either, three sides of just triangles, or a square base with 4 Triangles leanig together :P and a Preism is

3 Rectangles held together on the sides by 2 triangle sides.. make sense :S.. umm dunno wat teh same. exactly :D
