Ok, so i am a sophomore at the U of I, currently I am a pre-med student, and I really want to attend medical school at UIC, in Chicago. I would like to transfer to their campus next year to continue my undergrad courses, but everyone is telling me that its a stupid idea. Granted, my friends want me to stay, but U of I is also said to be the better school. If I do well here, and I do well there, is there really that big of a difference? Im sooo confused, but I need to figure it out soon because of housing.

I am from Canada but wanted you to all know that my thoughts and prayers are with you on 9/11.
I will never forget the call I received from a friend telling me to turn on my TV and then hung up. For one solid week I could not leave my set. Tears were shed for days watching the horror unfold in front of me. It was a nightmare I cannot imagine anyone going through.
To all those who lost loves ones in this disaster, and to all those heroic men and women who helped, my heartfelt prayers are with you.
I'm sure you are all being remembered around the world. I just wanted to reach out personally to you all.

OK my child in 4Th grade brings home more homework than i have ever seen. Do you do work in school? Spelling word + work sheet, math work sheet and reading 30 minunets. Then write a sentence on what you read. On top of a project that is due in a few days. They say HW should only take a hour. I would like you to come sit at my house and be with me that hour. LOL... Hey I have a grammar question... I know what an interrogative sentence is.. it's a sentence with a command, right? Well, does this interrogative sentence end with a period or an exclamation point?

also, in this sentence, is the word "readers" a direct object or an indirect object?

sentence: "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle certainly gave READERS a wonderful gift when he created the character of Sherlock Holmes". I think its an indirect object, is that correct? or is it a direct object?
