Hey I have a grammar question... I know what an interrogative sentence is.. it's a sentence with a command, right? Well, does this interrogative sentence end with a period or an exclamation point?
also, in this sentence, is the word "readers" a direct object or an indirect object?
sentence: "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle certainly gave READERS a wonderful gift when he created the character of Sherlock Holmes". I think its an indirect object, is that correct? or is it a direct object?
