Because really, when you think about it, it's really a pretty interesting question. One way it makes sence, the other it doesn't.

Confused cause i failed three classes?
Alright, I need to know if I get stuck in the tenth grade if I failed three classes in the school year? I failed global, math, and spanish. I was sent to summer school for math and spanish only because on the global regents i got a 92 and got my credit becuase of that. I took the spanish regents and passed. I did not attend summer school and I am wondering what is gonna happen. Am I gonna have to repeat all of my courses from tenth grade? Or do i move on to eleventh with taking only the same math and spanish courses?

Are scholarship oppurtunities lost for me and will I become a super senior?
Please give me a detailed response because i am really scared
One last thing, i failed 4 classes in the first term, and 3 in the second, do I get left back becuase of that?
Or do i just repeat the classes I failed?
The last few things i have to say are, i was in two accelerated classes, I finished physics, so i dont have to take it next year

What are the rules for using the words 'that' or 'which'?

e.g. I jumped onto a bus 'that' was red

or

I jumped onto a bus 'which' was red

Not sure if that's a very good example but hopefully you'll get the gist.

What is your opinion? Thank You for you help! ^_^

Money can not buy you time, but time can buy you a lot of money depending on the individual’s abilities. If you were committed to sacrifice your time to save money, then why not spend your money effectively to optimize your time efficiently?

i've been in college 4 yrs now but never lived in a dorm.
my friend is just going to college and i'm helping her shop/pack for the dorm.
can anyone provide a list of useful stuff?
maybe stuff you found out later you really needed.
btw, she doesn't have a mall near the campus (it's about an hr drive) so she really can't just get the stuff when she moves.
thanks!

Hey,
I'm a student at UCSD. I went to Calcopy to purchase my book for my Phil 163 class yesterday and the owner of the store switched my $20 bill, and gave it back to me claiming that it was a fake. The money that I used to pay with, I had just taken from the ATM, and the $20 that he gave me, claiming was mine, was old, and folded up, and wrinkled. It clearly wasn't mine, but when I insisted that it wasn't, he kicked me out of the store. I kept arguining with him, and he eventually gave me $40 back, and the $20 fake, which still leaves me down $15, and I have no book. He is a crook, and you should never deal with him if at all possible. If you have to, then use a debit card. I am going to tell my teacher, Mr. Doppelt about this, tell everyone that you know too. I also called that Turko guy.
Thanks.

Possibly the silliest word game ever, try to come up with as many foods or dishes that sound lethal or painful but relate to an actual food such as Ceasar Salad would be Seizure Salad, Chicken Tetrazzini might be Chicken Tetrachloride. Other obvious ones would be Clamp Chowder, I've even accepted really far-fetched stupid ones like for Peking Duck someone once said Rodney King Duck which I did not condone but you know how people are. Just get crazy with it: Nuclear Submarine Sandwich, Welch Drill Bit, Chapped Beef on Toast, are all okay. Gefighting Fish might be pushing it... Nah, it's fine but don't just say "Veal" cause that's cheating. Now I have to go out for awhile, you kids play nice and I want to see lots of delicious and deadly answers when I come back. Thanks!

This might be good in P&S or cooking but I wanted to make sure wow_bill, meng-tzu & brainlady saw it (just to name a few of my brilliant colleagues... and I use that term loosely, but I won't tell you which term.)
