Hey,
I'm a student at UCSD. I went to Calcopy to purchase my book for my Phil 163 class yesterday and the owner of the store switched my $20 bill, and gave it back to me claiming that it was a fake. The money that I used to pay with, I had just taken from the ATM, and the $20 that he gave me, claiming was mine, was old, and folded up, and wrinkled. It clearly wasn't mine, but when I insisted that it wasn't, he kicked me out of the store. I kept arguining with him, and he eventually gave me $40 back, and the $20 fake, which still leaves me down $15, and I have no book. He is a crook, and you should never deal with him if at all possible. If you have to, then use a debit card. I am going to tell my teacher, Mr. Doppelt about this, tell everyone that you know too. I also called that Turko guy.
Thanks.

If anyone has an idea of what I can do, let me know. I called the police, they told me that it was not a police matter, and referred me to the Secret Service, who were closed at 4:30. This is also the only place that it is possible to purchase the book, and I have an essay due on wednesday.
