Getting someone back isn't always the wisest thing to do. In retaliating, your are acknowledging that what they have done has hit the mark. Ignoring the situation would probably annoy them more if they are looking for a response.
The best thing to do is to move on with your life and make a success of it.

I was advised when very young,: remember and return it. Touche ! As I matured, I found that means spending my time carrying the hurt, and planning a return.......... somehow I did not want to spend my time contemplating how I was going to hurt or insult the person in return . I learned to forgive and forget, instead, and go on with my days, where many other friends entered that were not hurtful to know. I hope this is helpful /

Revenge is sweet, revenge is best served cold. I would totally humilate them in public. I did this to a girl a few years ago cutting a long story short......i went into her works and caused a scene ( she worked in tescos supermarket) i shouted to all the customers that she ******* ***** ****** *** as u can imagine she went bright red!! i got escorted out but her face was a picture. She never did it again anyway! It may not have been the best to do it but it beat getting an a.s.b.o lol I was in my teens when i did this but knowing what i know now your probably better off letting them get on with it, they always get their comuppence in the end and you dont have to do a thing!

Words always hurt people the worst, especially when you only speak the truth. Never start though let them. Ignore them any way you possibly can until they say something to you or snicker. Then release the rage through words. Always works and no one can charge you with any crimes!

Although you are hurting revenge is not the answer.By taking some you would be lowering yourself to their level.I don't go along with forgiving and forgetting certainly not in the early stages, why should you ? but just maintain your dignity, hold your head up and don't let them know how they have hurt you.You will come through it.

Don't get back at them! Tell them how you feel. If you fight fire with fire, all you get is a bigger fire. If you don't fight back, they might not hurt you again. If you really tell them how you feel how about what they did, they should say sorry and if they don't, they're a jerk and you need someone better to pay attention to.

The best way is to get away from them and only have friends who will not hurt your feelings, or learn to deal with your feelings a little better.

Show them you don't care, that you've moved on, and you're a better person without them.
I find that when thats happened to me, and I see them next, I act like everythings normal, still be civil, and talk to them. It works wonders, as they're brains start ticking about why you're still being nice. Its great when people want you to take the bait and you don't, it freaks them out, as you refuse to act how they expected and wanted you to.

Ignore them. Don't give them the satisfaction of letting them know they've hurt you.
